haha you shouldn't leave this thread now either. for like a week, it'd be sick to confine all of the asshole/sarcastic/funny people to one thread (people with high post counts as well) and then at the end of the week look at the rest of the message board and see how it has thrived without us.

drek, consider this: I've started popping caffeine pills. Hear me out.

One cup of coffee is like 100 mg of caffeine. Your average caffeine pill is 200mg of caffeine. So.... since I don't drink coffee, I recently started crackign a pill in half and taking half in the morning, 9ish, and half in the afternoon, 2ish, to bring me back up from that post-lunch slump. Although I catch flak for "popping pills", I'm really saving myself a shitload of money, avoiding unneeded calories, and staying level all day long. I never feel jittery or anything. Food for thought...

well I always thought it was bad for you till recently time magazine did a special on enhancing your brainpower, and there was this big article on the benefits of caffeine, how it helps you use your brain more efficiently. This was at a time where I started to feel duller and slower at work, and it turns out this little bit of caffeine at key times was just what I needed. Well, that and sleep. Your body will do fine w/ caffeine unless you go over about 300 mg a day, then you start doing whacked out shit like designing online skim magazines and shit.
