So my a/c has been broken in my apartment for 5 days now and it blows hot air. The temperature is 88 and above in there, 99 degrees as I tried sleeping last night. I've talked to the landlord and the maintenance guy has been up twice saying he's fixed it. I've called the emergency maintenance twice and they still haven't sent someone over. I left a pretty nasty note saying they need to do their job blah get shit fixed. The landlord called and told me her situation saying they're doing all they can do and they're going to get a company to come and fix it. I kinda feel like a dick for leaving the letter but sleeping in a 99 degree apartment is shitty. I shouldn't feel that way right? (there's been problems with the apartment ever since the month we moved in i.e.: leaking roof, P-trap collapsing, heat not working. and all those took a week + to fix)

your landlord is giving you the runaround. circle the part of the lease that says they have to fix problems with utilities, scan it and send it to her threatening legal action.
more importantly:
I called HVAC company to service a unit yesterday and they said they had received 1500 calls do far that day (we are having a heatwave). It can be kinda like calling a roofer during a huge downpour... Sometimes you are just gonna have to wait...
