heres a word of advice from someone who's been there. never place all your potential happiness on something happening. because nothing can give that to you. moving away may not be all you expected it to be. your new job will bring its own troubles. and lets say you achieve everything you want to do in the next few months? what will make you happy then? youll have to either look forward to something new (which will put you in the same boat youre in now) or you can sit back and be happy about the accomplishments youve made. that is a secret to being happy. taking joy in the things youve done. and that can start now.

I appreciate the advice. I just want a fresh start in a place where I haven't burnt a bunch of bridges, I want to be productive and hard working, break out of my shell, meet new people, experience life. I feel trapped. I know outside influence isn't going to make me happy, but I maybe if I can leave this post college group who aren't trying to better themselves, I can stand on my own. I've always followed the group and have allowed them to basically make my decisions. Just want to be man..
If there is something hipster about unironically defending the validity of discussing Justin Bieber, then I clearly do not know what "hipster" means anymore.

where do you live anyway? if you are in cali, you clearly rollerblade (i'd imagine with a name of xsjado), there's a lot of skating there. See if you can find some people and skate to take your mind off some stuff occasionally. rollerwarehouse has a wednesday night skate thing. there's lots of people that skate there too. i mean i'm sure you're aware but just in case you weren't, anything to help i guess.

Go do things you normally wouldn't do to meet people you normally wouldn't hang out with. I know that i get in ruts being stuck in my home town because everyone knows me and it's hard to meet interesting new people. When i go to places i haven't been before i usually meet some pretty cool people. I know how you feel man, i've been battling with myself for what seems like months. Just the other night i went to this girl's house, who i was interested in, and ended up having the worst nights in a while. Everything was fine, and a small group of us were all drinking. I was laying on the couch with her and she left to go to bed. I wake up in the morning and see her walking out with another guy. She told me that she was asking me to go in to her room with her, but i don't remember this at all. She said nothing happened, but shit still sucks.

Oh, i'm well aware something happened. On top of that i was there when it happened, 15 feet away in the other room. Alcohol and video games have been my best friend lately. Part that sucks is that she made it sound like my fault, saying that i ignored her requests for us to go in the bedroom. Sober or drunk i would've been all over that shit, so i know she didn't say anything.

hey canadians, what pharmacy is your staple over there? over here it's walgreens and CVS. i'm thinking i may be taking a trip over the border to pick up some sanely priced meds as mine are starting to surpass $300/month. i'm having trouble figuring out what pharmacies are legit, considering 'canadian pharmacy' are scam hotwords.
    Then I would say.....Ha,ha,ha

Ha, oddly enough, some asian kid on my floor freshman year recommended i watch that and something called Steins; Gate. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought all anime was either dragonball Z or Gundam wing.

cool show but the animation was godawful, even worse than most anime. the storylines on DBZ were cool but it used to piss me off when the characters talked about dumb crap for half the episode. You'd have Frieza floating around over Kakarot, talking for 15 mins about his fracking plans sounding like a female toad in heat when he can just obliterate him right then and there.

that said, I loved ghost in the shell and princess mononoke

    yes and yes

but you guys really should check out some full length shows, it allows for a shit ton more depth on characters... Death Note has seriously made me reconsider what I think is an original idea/good show. It took itself really seriously and was not meant for a child/teen audience. Weird thing is I'm not the biggest computer guy/video gamer...(stereotype for most anime watching fans)

and on the subject of DBZ, Toonami was the shit back in the day...

Well its not Math, Science, Buisness or Computer Science. So you're right. But its going to help me get a foot in the door. Canada has about as terrible of a job market as America, but just less people. My back up profession will be to move to Alberta to work in Oil, you get extremely well paid.
