ive taken so many surf/skim trips already its insane...but EVERY time i go to costa rica...i fall inlove with it all overrr again
its just such a STOKE....every second of the day
ure heart has no downtime....its pumping when ure charging waist/chest skim...pumping when ure charging 6-8 ft surf.....pumping when ure telling the storys getting fcked up at night...and pumping while ure sleeping, and dreaming about ure wake up next morning...(NOT trying to sound corny DALE!)
8 days i was there...and this was the BEST wave i hade...wish there woulda been a sequence to it....not the biggest i caught...but just...perfect...barrel section...

prob. is...hermosa is a beach break..and if its THAT big...my money is on escondido (reefbreak off jaco)....once hermosa got to the 10ft mark...it was closing out and the surf just wasnt funn

there is a public beach...right outside of manuel antonio...NOT THAT ONE..no skim
u take a little boat to hop a puddle....dont be CHEAP...pay the guys 1-2 bucks 1,000 colones is fine.....(if they show you their feet and tell u wat the water can do..ude be happy to pay..)

THats fukn awesome bro...I am heading down there in a few months when he gets settled. They, I mean Eric and his buddy are in the process of opening an Americana style eatery down there. The place will be the only place with more than chicken an rice on the menu.

Eric tells me the skim is so knarly when he went to check out the new spot a month ago it wasnt even makable, too many rocks, and big fkn trees just rolling up and down the beach.
Did you see any Salty Water Crocs??? They got big ones I hear.
