speaking of which, i just watched troy again today and noticed some amazing skim at the seen where they attacked the camp at night. the morning after look like aliso without a slope.

and i a few days i realised that when i watch a movie / tv whatever and i see someone standing on the beach i forget about the people and watch the waves to see if they give great skim

i think a giant pipe sticking out into the water would throw a powerful sider. if u notice at the wedge the jetty is built up at a angle but what if u built a wall standing not straight up but sticking out at an angle. i think that would compress a lot of wave energy and throw a nice sider. i dont know if u guys are going to get what im saying its hard to explain

Yea, I've noticed that too. Once a movie goes to a beach scene, I forget about the movie. I do that on tv shows and mini videos and pictures and everything. And no, it's not a bad thing

Thats on the beach in Newcastle, Australia,
and all the local skimmers there, are onto it.

They reckon a good sand spit is being created, you can nearly walk out to the ship, and hopefully when the ship is moved
away,the skim might just well be on.
