Help with CD burning

everytime i try to burn a cd, an alert box comes up saying "the attempt to burn a disc failed. the disk is locked and cannot be written to." ive tried this with multiple cd's and this comes up each time. any ideas of what could be wrong and/or how to fix it?

Hmmm. if you downloaded the program offline its not to hard to uninstall/reinstall again, or if you have your disc. could help it was working before and you havent changed what you were doing before. like BART said CD brand possibly. Also, if you already had stuff on the CD and they are CD-R (cant add after you finish putting stuff on them) then thats the prob. If they are CD-RW, then i dunno.
