while i believe you can get an exile through a european distributor for not much more, I don't think you could go wrong with the (more) local manufacturer's board, especially if it works out to be...
you can make it at least as fun as sledding, especially if you make features and wait for things to ice up a bit. wouldn't recommend foam boards though, does a number on 'em.

East end is squeaky clean, in the days just after the storm it was all "icky and stuff" but has since cleaned up to average normal ocean water that has not given me rashes in 20 or so sessions. Also...
