if your waves are a little too close together to try and wrap, just air off of them..that's an opportune time to start practicing airs because you aren't sacrificing the good waves for new airs you...

the goal is to utilize the flat spot of your board..that's why people generally move their back foot towards the middle of the board, because that's where the board has the least amount of rocker

Newport, from 6th street to wedge and all the laguna spots..you might have to drive around a little to find a spot with the best waves

A week will most likely be pretty hard..It takes a while to learn the fundamentals, but it does help practicing pumping for speed on a skateboard or cruiser...it gets your body used to the key...
