here it stormed for 17 days Tropical Storm styleeeee. Super no fun. I felt so badly for everyone on vacation.

There's enough surf to make up for it! I'm moving Feb 28, and will be there through the summer at least, so I'll throw the skim in the boardbag just in case.

Any luck? I was just in Kauai, and am going back the end of the month. Shipwrecks didn't look too skimmable the day I was there though. I didn't see a skimboard my whole time there.

I've been quiet on this issue so far, but I have to say I fully agree with you here. There were three or four of the women skimming very well in those heats, but most were nowhere near a "pro"...

i dunno who you skim with, but when i learned to skim i got yelled at for NOT being in the middle of the lineup charging waves.

Fail. Chicks who want to skim should skim. They shouldn't have to worry about being good if they are having fun and at least trying to improve.

fyi surfrider foundation is having a meeting/beach cleanup at surfside that day at 10am if anyone wants to participate, or at least not trash the beach please.

uh oh. might have to break out a skimboard for the second time this year.... or at least come drink beer with tad.
