I had a bunch of runs today similar to this. Is my timing off or is it something else?
I'll be at Salisbury beach tomorrow a little before noon around beach access number 7 or 8.
EDIT:
What a beautiful day. Planning on going again Thursday too around the same time!
I just got a new textured board a few weeks ago and it definitely grips much better with wax than without.
Anyone know anything about the conditions of Rexhame beach this season?
During the off season, I left my skimboard bag stored in the basement. There must have been moisture left inside because now it smells like poop. Anyone know how to get rid of such a terrible smell?
Sounds awesome! I'll definitely be up there within a few weeks
Has anybody skimmed using an East Coast Skimboard brand from http://www.eastcoastskimboards.com/East-Coast-Skimboards_c_40.html I'm looking to buy a new skimboard and was wondering if anyone has a...
How cold is too cold to skim? I'm in Massachusetts right now and I was thinking later this week, because its getting a little warm outside, to plan a trip to the beach. How cold a water temp is too...
Would anybody skim at this point in the year? It's supposed to be pretty nice this week, but I've never gone to the beach in the winter. Is it worth giving it a shot? How cold is the water?
Yeah Salisbury was a pretty good time before and after noon. Some of the waves looked kinda deadly intimidating :-O
Anyone know how the north shore took the storm?
Thank's I'm gonna try this in my local pond later
I can't find a thread for this. Can you paddle on to a wave as a surfer would with a skimboard such as my Zap Pro Large? Are there any videos of this?
I'll see if I can get up there as long as it doesn't rain
If you drive north along North End Blvd, you can find beach accesses along that road. Around high tide, it gets pretty nuts. Also, there's more of a slope beyond what that camera can see.

If you can discern anything from these cameras it could help. I might head out there later as well if I can get off work early.
I don't know how it's supposed to be on a regular day, but my friend and I were getting a few easy wraps today. I like how the water wasn't too choppy so you can get pretty far out on a good run....
Damn, the one day I choose to try out Rexhame over the usual Salisbury...
Yeah i'm not too familiar with the area, do you know what street its near? Is it down on Ocean street?
Where is the point at rexhame?
I'm not too into Crane beach because they steel at least $15 from you each time you go. It's a beautiful beach, but not too great for skimboarding. I would try Salisbury if you want waves. If you...
Thinking of going down to the south shore tomorrow. Where's the best place?
Salisbury has had some pretty fun waves recently, but the greenhead bugs have been ruining it for me. I don't know what to do about that.
Greenheads chased me away from Salisbury :-O. What am I supposed to do about them?
