Dr. Whang attended Duke University where he majored in Biochemistry. He then attended Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where he received his MD degree. He then spent the next 6 years at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center undergoing residency in Surgery and Urology. In 1993, he started private practice in Urology at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. He has been involved in over 2500 Kidney Transplants and has had interest in all aspects of Urology. He has significant experience with prostate cancer, kidney cancer and bladder cancer as well as sexual dysfunction and BPH. Although he is extremely busy, he loves to read and play golf when he can find the time. His motto is "the patient is always right" and tries to make his office as patient friendly as possible.
