yeah I really wish I could have made it this morning but my legs are f'ing DEAD. Would have been great to get 2 1/2 hours of skimming & surfing in morning glass but I was just too beat.
Is anything working on the lower tide? I am trying to dawn patrol Saturday morning because the wind might go a little northish by noon on Saturday
judging from yesterday, low tide is gonna be dead. take a surf or sponge. im probably going tomorrow after i get off work around 5 and then im trying to go pretty much all day saturday.
give me some deets, homies. I know at least one of y'all went yesterday or will go today. Let me know how it looks, whether better for skimming or better for surfing. I kind of have an equal itch for either now, especially after the surf was so good Wed night and I without my ol' trusty single fin.

we went to 63rd yesterday and at first the waves were way to far to reach, there were a couple small ones that would come in and be reachable but other then that they were hard to reach, toward the end of the day as high tide was going down it got a little better at 63rd, vicpoly was that you with the green board at 63rd i was the kid with the white vic
that was probably sean with the green board. iwas out saturday but there was nothing worth skimming. 61st was fun looking but not reachable. 63rd looked the same. went up to 78th to hang with some friends and it looks like there might be a little point there but the tide was too low to see for real. up that way might be better with high tide, im gonna check it out. 63rds been letting me down now. i think we need to go exploring zeebs, im off work until thursday so im trying to get as much skim in as possible.

all this swell the past week has really screwed up the beach. there's a really shallow sandbar killing all the shorebreak. i checked 48, 63, and the 70s and it was horrible all wknd. if you guys find a spot anywhere, lmk. low tide will be in the evening this week, so i most likely won't be skimming much. and yeah, that was Katoosh at 63rd on Saturday.
