Yeah, I have a Cervelo P2C with a rear disc.
You are faster than me by a lot if you are averaging a 26 mph time trial on a flat course. 26mph is good enough to be a solid cat 3 rider at least. How many miles are you riding a week and how structured are your workouts?
I recently won a windy 8.2 mile (flat) time trial with an avg speed of 26.9mph. It was at Fiesta Island in San Diego. Cat5.
If you like hills, you'd like the Santiago Canyon time trial in Orange County (CA). 11.1 miles, 740ft of climbing. I got 2nd in cat4/5 and missed the win by 2 seconds! my avg rolling speed was 24.3mph.
I also recently did a 40K TT (flat course) and averaged 25.9mph.
That GPS application is pretty cool. Where / how do you subscribe for that?
Do you use a dedicated TT bike?
Yeah. I did my first of the year back in February. Got second in my category. My next race will be June 30th, and then planning another in September to close out the season.
Do you still time trial? How's the racing been? I've been TTing more than skimming and surfing lately and I recently got my first win. I wanted to see what you were up to and if you were still at it.
