View Full Version : Changing Threads Titles
I dunno if this has been asked before, but why is it not possible to edit your own thread title after you posted it?
is it a programming issue, is it a rule?
i think it would be nice if users were allowed to do that, then they wouldnt have to bother admins when they make mistakes.

I'll agree but I think they should only have a limited time to change it. that way other users can find the thread they've already replied in rather than thinking its a new thread created by the same user.

when you edit your post within the first 10 mins or so of posting it, you have the option of changing the title. It's a textbox right above the text area where you type your message.

the reason I couldnt change it later is cause the way I do it uses ajax and it doesnt work properly for me...

yoh can also go back to the board, find ur thread, and double click next to it. that will allow the title to turn into a text box so you can change it.
