View Full Version : Frontpage loading time?

Seems very slow on the 6 computers I have used in the last week....

I remember there being an issue with this in the past.

mine genrally loads a small portion in the top left hand corner of the page, then the rest loads a bit later

Yea, it takes a while, now I just have the forum as a homepage tab along with the main page when I open explorer...

Mine loaded like that on all of the school computers. Except the rest never loaded. Only the top left.

The skimonline site is on a seperate server from the messageboard server. I don't believe Aaron ever switched it, but the load time will significantly change in the next couple months.

Uh oh, I've said too much. Now I'm a tease.

I know what the problem is and it is related to the server move. Unforunatlely I do not have the ability to fix the problem until I get back to my home computer which wont happen until Tuesday.

The new site release is linked to software releases and compatabilities which are out of our hands... thanks for the patience though, thats cool.

My skimonline/interact goes slower than the mainpage; is this the same problem as the front page loading?

I have it bookmarked on my homecomputer but 80% of the time I go on is at school, in which I use a different computer every day.

Its been very slow. I was at the dealership yesterday and had time to kill, so I tried fucking around on my phone to bring the mb up and it kept timing out before it could load. I've used it before in the past and didn't have a problem with it...
