I actually haven't got the chance to ride it yet. The beach I went to was destroyed. According to Steve from exile, the markings on the rail and the graphic are apparently from the carbon (I did not know this). Kinda bummed about it to be honest because I was expecting a fresh looking $450+ board but oh well, it is what it is.

Here's how I put pads on my boards. I first clean the board & your hands with rubbing alcohol. lay the pad down with the paper on still on the back, then use a ruler to make sure it's center. Then I use a sharpie to mark the corners of each piece. It's best to lay down the middle first, stick it down lightly so you can move it around, to get it straight. Once it down then do the other pieces. When done, I lay the board down on the soft carpet and walk on the pads to set them. Then last I use rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip to clean off all the sharpie marks. Of all the different kinds of pads I have put on none of them have ever came up putting them on this way. As far as I know......almost every grip pad company uses 3M glue on their pads. So they all should stick the same.

I never 'complain' and i'm not one to make a big deal as a consumer but i worked my ass off to pay for a brand new board while paying all my other bills. Again, not trying to make a big deal but I am going to call to see if something can be worked out.

I dont see any 'raw materials sticking out of the board'.

I do see what looks like a blem in the art sheet, where it perhaps wasnt printed correctly, resulting in a cosmetic problem. Pics are a little far away, but thats what it looks like. I havent seen an issue like that before, so kinda curious actually.

I also see some white pigment on the rails. This is something that happens on all our art boards with dark colored tops. Hank and Steve are supposed to let the customers know about this before we build it for them. Obviously not a problem on white tops or light colored tops. If they didnt let you know, then they screwed up. Let me know whether they did or not.

The issue with rails and the dark colored boards tops has an easy fix, but results in a weaker bond. So we choose to do it the way that doesn't sacrifice strength. I have seen a lot of art boards with bottoms peeling off over the years, so I am particularly cautious about that.

The art problem however just looks like a straight up blem to me (as best I can tell from the pics). Give Hank a call to see whats up 949-492-0284. We actually WANT to hear from anyone who is not happy with their board so we can know what needs to be fixed and take care of customers who didnt get what they wanted. Please dont hesitate to ever give us a call.

Yes sir Clitters been done since the 80s. Mike Cole built one of his first Airborn labeled boards with glitter it was a clown colored board with gold glitter. Very nice if u like that sort of thing.

Took it right before I waxed it, I am gonna get a trac pad yet, but I am definitely gonna get one that matches the color scheme I've got going. Oh and it's a hybrid btw and the exile logos blue is just a little bit darker, the sun made it look a bit lighter.

White is the best color for a skimboard. Why? Because it doesn't get very hot in the sun and melt your wax off, and dings are the easier to fix. Now black on the other hand is harder to fix dings and will melt your wax off fast......but nothing looks as :cool: as black carbon.

I'm not sure why black is harder to fix dings tho, in my experience it's easier because you don't have to put pigment. No matter, you'd have to hit that exile with a hatchet to give it a ding.

I got a white Vic and think it was one of the worst colors i could of ever chose! too easy to lose, but i do love the look of it :)

now i've had this exile for a bit - yellow bottom, green top... nice and bright, nearly impossible to lose in white wash :)
