I for one appreciate Michael Fk's lack of caring what everyone says about him and his free time that he uses to provide images of possible sick waves. That second link is hilarious and great that he has an open imagination and isn't afraid to hold it back.

Shawn's just stoked out of his mind. He's always wanting to try new things and share his videos. He's young and runs his mouth and says some dumb crap a lot but we all did. Let him babble on about nothing and ride what he wants and let Michael Fk creep us out with his crazy imagination. It's great entertainment.

Shortbus Skims(Drop the Skims or skimboards) Take a look at a lands end skimboard. They have the right idea, a clean logo with proper placement (Some LES, not so much). Go through all that time shaping a board and then put a kook logo downloaded off the computer??? Object is to be original, but with your own logo or design (if that makes any sense). Everyone wants a clean board. Even the grape guy in the outline http://www.skimcity.com/store/product.php?productid=29002&cat=3550&page=1 (<------this board) is not clean looking in my opinion.

The backpad was supposed to be the opposite colors. Black with Teal F's but a certain website doesn't update their pictures so I got that backpad. It looks much cleaner on my design with the pad that way but IMO still looks sick. I don't know know why the full arch should be higher though... kinda defeats the purpose of the full arch ;). What would you guys have done with the pads? It looks really nice in person lol.

I think you have a higher chance of falling if you come down on the nose than the tail. Any weight on the nose when you coming down a wave would almost everytime = falling.

That is true but when I can get barreled and shuv in it....... That will be the day! I'm not as pro as Chris so If I landed up there, I'd probably bust ass anyway. However, my foot lands above the backpad a lot so it does help me with dropping and guiding my foot back to the backpad when I need to shift it. It's an aesthetic vs. functionality problem, as David said. I know Exile took the EXTRA time to make it how I wanted it so I'd rather not cover it up. I already have to wax over the logo design on the left rail *cough* :rolleyes: alex *cough* lol

for next time, especially on a black board. trace around the pad placement where you want them before you stick them, then sand the parts that are inside the trace. You will get a much cleaner look.

yup. first you lay on a coat of white, then you lay on a coat of whatever color your logos are...the arrows are removable so you can do them seperately, wait for them to dry and replace them. I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone do it yet. Pretty simple.
