just wondering im ordering a new board in a few weeks and i was thinking about traction set ups. i had this idea maybe its dumb but i was thinking of putting a sticky bumps the bar as an arch but with the kick at the nose and then if it doesnt go far enough down with my stance get another arch. just wondering if im being an idiot or if i should try it. also you can color pads with sharpie or paintpens right?

god ill never look at that tail pad the same again. two of my friends came with me to the beach and i skimmed a little and they wanted to do it. a few weeks later they happened to be in cape cod the same week i was there and showed up at nauset beach where i was skimming one holding red zap lazer with that pad and the other with a wavezone and that pad and they were actually bragging about how cool there boards were and how light they were. i didnt feel like ruining there day so i went along with it. the worst part was they didn't know how to wax a board so the cut it into chunks put it on there boards just sitting there and waited for them to melt and then proceeded to smudge it around. if you have ever seen a 2 year old try to finger paint thats what it was like.

oh and i forgot to mention they put that pads on top of wax so they came off half way through the session

On the contrary to someone else's statement, I think it's a pretty big slap in the face. If you ARE good enough to make the apex team, why not be the revolutionary character in Shortbus? Vs. being the decent skimmer on Apex. Why would Apex want someone who dropped a company if they knew that if exile ever wanted you, you'd drop them? Probably a little bit young to understand that shit but from experience I can tell you, a company owner notices shit like that and they value having loyal people over good skimmers on their team.
