and I cant ride without a rear pad. It helps with traction (obviously), foot placement, and pop. But since you are such a hard core flatlander teddy, maybe i should remove it because it doesnt help. right?

i hate to be the one to break it to you, but that is a pretty bad place for your pad, unless that is an XL board and you are 4 feet tall

generally you want it about as far back as it will go, or at least pretty close to the back, having it where it is now will be pretty detrimental to your skimming

That's pretty bad placement, in agreement with the others that posted in this thread. You may want to remove it and then reapply it further down closer to the tail. Otherwise you won't get the maximum performance out of your board.

in theory that makes sense, but it would be beneficial for you to move it now, if you gain more experience with the tail pad there, you will learn the bad habit of having your foot way too far forward, and you will just have to retrain yourself to not put your back foot that far forward later on, not too mention you probably won't be able to get all that much better with your back foot in the middle of the board

i strongly suggest moving it now, either that or you could just buy another tail pad and stick it behind the one that's already on there, looks like there's enough room

btw, the bottom art on that thing is really sick

actually that part isnt even the logo... theyre all stickers... some just the decal ones or w/e they r called...i was gunna have them do a design but i would have had to pay 80 dollars for that, and i didnt feel like it, so just took a bunch of stickers i had

The idea was to put a coat of gloss over the stickers so they would stay there. In my opinion they will stay there on there own. I've seen alot of boards with stickers on them and none with gloss covering them. Seems like overkill to me. Now a coat of gloss over custom painted art is another story.

yeah, i bought it frim my local surf shop. And ill tell you right now, its a very nice pad. Its comfy and super grippy (its a little softer than the other x trak pads). The only problem with "the goods" series (that i saw) is that they were all one piece. So i simply took a razor and cut it into 3 pieces, because i have a big foot and it was a little small before.

My doctor thought i was an idiot for waiting 2 days to get it looked at. I'm pretty sure that's why she put some muscle into it when she was giving me a tetanus shot. Anyway sure thing man, it was a little hard to get on at first cause its so light, but after you get the hang of that it's a really fast board.
