Just regular Xtrak strips. I cut them up myself to get the angles and sizes I wanted.

No. Your board should be buoyant enough to float.
And wax is fine, just apply it right.
I prefer traction pads + wax.
Just save up for a traction pad and an arch bar for skimming in the ocean... It should be fine for flatland too.

they are called stripper pads, they come in little strips so u can do designs that have grips or you can just lay them out.

I cut mine in half and then cut in 45 degree angles on one end and the points on the other. If you want thinner ones you can just cut them in half lengthwise.

It's funny too, b/c I go to UCF and my board kind of has their colors. Someone pointed that out to me yesterday.

For my board I just did all the jazz in paint pens and throw down some coats of clear acrylic spray paint over top of it to make sure it doesn't smudge or run. When clear coating, start with a very, very light coat. Then wait for it to dry and do a little heavier. Repeat as much as desire. If you do too heavy at first it could cause your paint to run.

You don't necessarily have to clear coat it. I'm pretty sure all the clear coat on mine has worn off by now (did it a couple years ago). But, some of the paint on my board has smudged and shit.

haha that'll do it. most boards if they do break it's because of unfixed dings that can weaken the board and breaks can be prevented. sometimes it's just bad luck. pretty much if you go out the back a lot or do airs and land really flat not in transition you're going to break boards. stay away from the seaweed Rex, shiz suckkksss.

I figured it just comes with an order but I wasn't sure if you have to order something and get the sticker for free or if you can just buy the sticker itself.

Well im pissed finally get my board after like a week and a half of waiting, and it's too big 52" x 20" (length x width).Way too big too flatland with I mean this thing is huge, but see I read before I bought and everything said to get a "large" board for a higher body weight.:confused:

and i've only ridden the hugo once. i wasn't riding very well and the conditions sucked but i could deffenetly tell i like it. the shape is really good personally.

mine has some tapeering in the tail and i know it's not as wide a regular comp for shore and i haven't compared it side to side to my friends boom yet. i think the rocker is also a little flatter. i think the nose mightbe a little narrower than the boom too.
