i chuckled a bit when i first saw it, but then remembered my attempts at artwork. anyway if your foot lands right where the logo is and you do a frontside air, your foot will go up at least another couple of inches, and if you slide your foot when you wrap it will too

yeah why wax it. i hear some people dont even use pads on squares. w/e its your choice. the only reason i would wax it is to weight it down it in the wind. squares are awesome though

yea i rode wedge w/o pads on a pretty good sized day

you wax it for extra grip. the textured decks don't have THAAAAAT much grip. just a hell of a lot more then the gloss. the difference is, you don't have to wax with textured but you do with gloss.

Just got it on Thursday at the Exile warehouse in San Clemente. First high end board.

i think that the squares textured deck is differnet than most boards. it i think it is more like skateboard griptape. i dont know though, ive never ridden one. thats just from their site.

I pretty much only ride the exile these days, the slotty is a size too small for me and needs a pretty decent wave, the vic was just laying around so I threw some cheapo pad on it...i dig how wide/flat that thing is when it's small out
