those pads sucked haha i put them on an took the picture, went out the next day......an my arch bar fell off after 2 waves, an i didnt have any wax on me. that little back piece started coming up but i put some crazy kind of glue on it an its still stickin.... but imma gonna save up a bit of money an go back to astro deck or try on some skimshop pads


well sam i went to that spot... an it was fucking fire! we had a badass side wash.. i had one were i hit the sider 180'd into the barrel came out 180'd again into another barrel... i was about waiste to chest high. but the crew over here is just now gettin back out from the winter. dav is fucking still killing it. i need to get some footage of him he reminds me of aaron astin hahaha..... these damn kids from the gulf hahahaha but yea sam let me know whern your coming over here an if you help pitch in ill take you to the spot. i dont think anyone has skimmed this one. but the point has had it good an bad day recently also.

Poor boys do not suck... you just didn't apply them on correctly. Nearly all of the traction companies use the same type of glue, Astrodeck, Poorboy, Zaplix, and Skimshop. You gotta make sure you clean the area well enough and let it set.

I had Poorboy's also on my brand new board and the small ones fell off the 3rd day. By the end of the week the backfoot pad was loose. Back to X-Trak for me, or I might get this FamousWax Brit pad.

if ur pads come off just add elmer's to the bottom and re-stick it. elmer's works on everything.

epoxy works better tho. you can get it home depot, lowe's, whatever. shit stuck my fingers together. nail polish remover gets it off tho.

super glue works the best when pads come up.

I'm a big fan of guerilla glue personally, but you have to be careful since it's an expanding (foaming) type of glue, that you dont use to much and have it expand out from under your pad.

no i bought it off ebay for $225 shipped. best 225 ever spent. its custom, no gloss, reinforced railings, and slightly narrower than normal boards. i suggest checking ebay every so often.

The new Exile. XL - 3/4" (I hope), Hybrid rocker, textured.

Couldn't really think of a good color to choose, my first board color was pre-determined for me and was sick, but I wanted something different, and something that could easily be seen in the white wash.

Decided on going with some Bahamian colors (same as in the flag), will probably put some art when I get off this semester, and am looking to make some stickers with "Skim Bahamas" or something on it, my bro's girlfriend works at a sign/vinyl shop so hopefully I'll get the hook up and can give some out to some people that skim here too.

P.s. Thanks to the fella's at Exile, Lord knows I called them enough. lol.

Hopefully we'll be able to put them to good use come Wednesday.

No, not custom. Its Royal Blue but isn't as dark as expected.

There's no shit green. The blue on the pads, and the blue on the board is the same color, its supposed to be Royal Blue, but is more of a reg. old blue. If you look at the exile site, the color on the bottom of my board is kind of a combo between sky blue, and royal blue.

Truth be told I wasn't that psyched about the look either, it will most likely look a lot better with some art, and the black stickers I'm planning on getting made. We'll see... I'm sure it will make up for the looks in the ride.

I'm not a huge fan of how it turned out with the textured, but it would probably look better in glossy for sure. I guess its just a big change from the clear top, dark blue bottom I got on my Zap.

Yea, guess it all comes out a little different. I think the greenish tint you're seeing is from the carbon showing through in some sections. Ah well, too bad now, just have to rip with it. lol.

really any carbon board (including zap) are well made. ive heard of people on here skimming with a bashed zap comp carbon w/ no nose and it still didnt take on water.
