My two boards - Brand new, freshly waxed Vic Woody and my old cheap, no name board. Yea, I'm a sand skimmer mainly because I live in TN and where we go on vaction has no waves, and I saw no reason to invest more than $100 if I can only do it once a year.

I looked at it again worse than I thought pieces are missing so there are holes and it cracked up the rails. Its not totaled totaled, but for me it is. UPS is going to ship it back. At least eastcoastskimboards is being really helpful and let me pick out and ship my replacement before the other one is returned. No charge either so its not like I buy another one and then once they get my other board they send me my origonal money back. Maybe I can get pics of the damage up.

ok that explains it. I had a meyer also big mistake. No float crappy quality. Lasted 2 seaons od sand skimming then slpit down the rail splitng the board in two. My Zap wedge was ok to learn on but not much float. Now I'm just waiting for my vic poly vac

the arch bar being so soft was actually not a dissapointment... Its actually pretty nice having a solid pad in the back and soft in the front, gives me the kind of traction i need... anyways the new pad rode nice... but i couldn't test it to the fullest.. i only skimmed with it for a hour on some nice leftovers from yesterday since my thigh feels like the muscles have been stabbed... i did feel the extra amount of control in the front of the board i was after though. as for the wax, i ran out of wax so what i scraped up to put my pad down i re-used and it was all grey and really soft.

ti 22 nice new board but you might want to reconsider your rear pad placement.....think about moving it back closer to the tail. It will be alot of hassle since you already placed it but most likely worth it. I mean feel free to try it out and see how you like it where it is now but i think you will find its too far forward. To get it off just heat it up and take it off, then goo gone/alcohol the area clean and super glue the pad back on where it should be.

i just got a carbon slottie, the bottoms solid red as well, the top has a dark green tint instead of the blue on yours...looks pretty close. I love how fast it is and how it turns, worth every penny. All...51,000 pennies.

None of the new resin looks like they have plans. they all just look like swirls of colors to me, unless theyre meant to be ink blots, just trippy ones, I coulda swore I saw a donkey on one of them in those swirls once though...

Nice boards. Well my ML Victoria Poly Vac came today, this time in prisitne condition. It was actually pretty lucky. They said they would put in styrofoam this time, but no they didn't. Also the nose was sticking out of the bubble wrap. Which was only one layer. the box looked pretty beat up too. Yet the board has arrived without a scratch. Can't wait to test it out and get pics up. Water is getting warm, air is getting hot, I'm done with school thursday, high tide is a 3, and that tropical storm is supposed to make some swell for Massachusetts thursday and friday.

Sorry about the first post. My new Gray ML Victoria Poly Vac. I've only ridden it once, in the beginning of the season with my technique rusty and not in the best conditions and I already love this board. Should be awesome in good conditions and when I perfect my technique in speed, drop, # of steps, how I get on the board, foot placement, timing, wave selection, turining, etc.

How much do you use your kickpad on that Rob? I have a board for inland when it rains and the fields get flooded, and I just use straight wax. Never thought of using a kickpad on it. How'd you do those bat pads?
