the pads have good grip and a nice feel under my feet. you should try them out on your next board. that board is a medium zap carbon comp. it was my first bought board that i basically destroyed until i put a new bottom on.but right now i have a baby blue exile thats getting re bottom cause it was about to buckle.

Wow, thats a lot of fins, I had a bonzer fish that was 5 fins, but it had 4 sidebites (not full size fins) an and a tru ames bonzer fin in the middle, that thing must a a bitch to maneuver, with 5 full size fins, i have a quad fish now.

i dont surf with all 5 fins. i either surf it as a quad or a thruster. the boxes are pro-box hawaii, so i can move all the fins fore and aft 1/2 an inch, i can also change the angle of all the side fins. this way i can have a perfect fin setup for the way i want to surf.

...by the way, 5 fin fish arent actually that hard to maneuver, look up greg griffins 5 fin fish designs. there is so much turbulence caused by all the fins in the water that the board actually comes loose.

current exile i'm riding. just picked it up form a local shaper who fixed my the bottom of the board.

these signs you see were stolen from the manatee public beach on anna maria florida where i sometimes skim. they put these up right before spring break started and pissed myself and a friend off because thats were we go to hit on girls while we skim if it sucks everywhere else. so we went there during the night and stole 2 of the 3 signs that were up there.

what had happened i'm guessing is that there was alot of wear on the rail of the board that it just pealed away from the rail. before it had happened i had the bottom fully re bottomed and after 2 1/2 months of wear on that rail it cracked at the tail and pealed off. and that dark spot is where he patched it up with 2 layers of fiberglass but couldn't find the right color to go with the rest.
