can we get a big bold thing that says use the search bar everytime before you post a topic, like when you go to post it have it say big and in bold "DID YOU TRY USING THE SEARCH BAR FIRST?

no.

a bunch of the old threads are automatically locked after a month or so of inactivity, so if someone wants to start a new discussion about a previous topic, then they have the right to do that. chances are they would get faulted for bringing up an old topic also. it's a never ending cycle with you members who harass new members about not searching.

get over it and stop complaining; it's a forum. if you're not willing to answer them, here's a solution: don't post in it.

also, before you all go blasting some new member, chances are they don't know where to search or what to search for.

can you explain literally why that bothers you? i have a feeling it doesn't bother you much, but it gives you an opportunity to be an asshole to someone who's new here. as with ANY online forum, you will have multiple topics, and often times they're really vital to the learning process of the poster. so, instead of being a flamer and harassing the kid, why not just answer his question. when you were new here i'm sure you loved it when people flamed you for posting something that had been posted before.
