Past weekend was fun! there were some "almost waist high waves" but for dutch standards this was pretty big, and the waves were actually quite powerfull too! and thats a rare thing in holland i actually got my first mini barrel thingy, not that i was completely in it, but all the sudden there was water everywhere it was fun and i was stoked
anyway, pics.

That looks a lot like some of the recent skim I've had in the gulf.

They were fun, this was the first time since a long time the waves were actually pretty strong, so you didn't sink all the time, but the beaches where also very steep, something i wasnt used to so it was like rundropslide all the time, after all i think i learned a lot that day, my bud Patjuh helped me out to find myself some better timing and after some washes i finally somekind of got how to do it good.(i'm an inland/flatland skimmer yess) it was mad fun,and the water wasnt really cold, (i've skimmed colder water) i think it was about ehhh 15 degrees celcius, sorry i dont know how much that'd be in fahrenheits.

how cold is the water there
it's around 10 degrees C... that is like around 40-50F i believe..
winds were cold though... air temp was like 10-15c (45-50F)... with 4bft.
made the a couple of the first pics (the ones without all the grain and messed up colors)...
Se fosses apanhar nas nalgas era o melhor k fazias... ganda merda de ondas... heheheheh

Would it be okay if I suggested people stop quoting pictures? It's... kinda annoying and taking up room... ya know?
First wave looks fun.

are you going to the Opal Skimfest in Belgium?

I wanted to, but my work is restricting me to go, they say i have to work or else i'd get fired.
fuck'em i don't wnna get fired, but i also don't wanna miss the skimfest, but i'll have to cause no money = no skimtrips for me, and i don't like acting like a bum and asking people if i can hitch a ride or if i can lend money etc, that stuff only gets you in trouble.
+ there's a skimtrip coming in to france, and i deff wanna go there.
if you're going, good luck and have fun!
