Haha, arneluliar!! They make these things for surfboards. Makes more sense to use them on surfboards than skimboards. Surfboards are bigger and heavier. You should try to market something to protect the rails, nose and tail.. added with the straps for skimboards. Then I'd consider buying one. I always worry about the edges and so forth accidentally dropping or hitting concrete in the parking lot.
