First off I'm new to the boards, second I am leaving today to go to Laguna to skim for a week. My question is I don't know anyone out there so I wanted to see if anyone knows some people that would be down to go skimming or hang out while I'm there. Any help would be great.

i dunno how experienced you guys are or not but get a lesson with paulo if you can. it helped me out a ton and i was with him for only 1.5 hours. totally worth it and would kill to do it again!

whatd you do. . .? i've never heard of a skimboarding lesson... how much was it also?

well i wanted to just work on getting my timing and my throw down and so thats mostly what we worked on but we also talked about some other stuff, lessons are like $30 or $35 for an hour, you can find out more at http://solagskimschool.com/
