if your a new skimmer the break isnt going to matter when your just getting to the basics. once your good with sand skimming and start heading out into waves then check out some of the breaks on njskim

good to skim right now prob means lots of water to sand skim, i know thats what i looked for when i first started... and if so, go at low tide
