Ive been in search for the perfect browser for some time now, and i have found one thats pretty nice.
I was wondering if people had a different one then the ones i havent tried.
Ones that i have found, and my preference from 1-5
1.Enigma (current best) (FAST.FAST.FAST, nice features)
2. Mozilla Foxfire (Slow as HELL-but great features)
3. Internet Explorer (because it works with most everything)
4.
5.
the blanks i havent tryed, please help me fill in blanks, and tell me your "list" and compare them as i have

almost all web deisigners design for two browsers only, IE and Firefox. Both are sufficient at everything. Both are free. I dont know why you would use anything else.

I like Mozilla from an aesthetic perspective and because of its javascript debugging tools, but I'm also a bit partial to IE b/c of vbscript. Honestly I don't notice that much of a speed difference between the 2 and I like the way my pages look in IE better.
i personally like firefox, just for tabs.

using ie is like asking for someone to give your computer a virus. I prefer firefox or opera

this makes me think of what really happened when peluso "updated" the forums
mabe he was givin a virus/hacked, lost all the data, and dicided to start using enigma, opera, or firefox, while saying it was a "update"
hmmm the possibilities

I dont know what your even talking about now.
I have used IE for 10+ years and have never had a virus, from it, or otherwise...
I clearly explain why we moved to a new forum system at the top of every section.
I don't know what do when you multi task but I almost always have 20+ webpages open at the same time without incident.
IE handles it fine, as does firefox, and I am sure others... but IE displays the pages like the designers meant for them to be displayed, which I like.
The only legitimate complaint I can think of about IE would have to do with its recent modifications in how it hadles flash objects and others, upon court order. Other browsers would/will be subject to the same lawsuit if its worth the time (market share/money).

exactly.
And by that same token, Jasen, using Windows is like asking for a virus. Why? Because MS products are targeted b/c in most cases, they're either the best at what they do or one of the best. IE is also the most used browser by a longshot, so obviously it has a target on its back. The key is not to be a moron and
a) use virus protection
b) be at least internet savvy enough to know when you're venturing into virus-prone territory. When you get a virus downloading themed mouse cursors, I have no pity on you.
Being into software developing as well as multimedia, I hear it all from super pro-MS people to super anti-MS people. I've been on both sides of the fence but I am definately more pro-MS now than I've ever been. Bottom line is they hire smart people who write smart programs. Love them or hate them, they're good at what they do. And .NET is the fucking shit.
