Hey guys. Ive been skimboarding the past 2 weeks like trying to ride waves do sprays things like that. But before that I used to do nothing but ride the flats. So in the past 2 weeks I guess I have progessed pretty alright. but to the point of this thread.....the past 2 days I have been attempting 2 steps. I can do them in the flats very easy and if I run slow into the waves easy...Sometimes I dont get my feet set perfectly on my pads. Does anyone have any tips for that and how long does it take to get good at 2 stepping? Please someone help a newb!! :p

Hey where you from? Yea start slow and then try to speed things up with your steps. It came really natrual for me but that works in most cases. And with Spraying and turning a lot of people forget that you have to use your rails to turn and just slide across the top try putting more weight into your toes and heels

Yeah, Im pretty good with the spraying..Just trying to get better at the 2 stepping... I use an Arch Pad for grip on my front foot and I concentrate so much on landing my front foot on that I mess up and either eat it or miss the board.

Dont worry about putting your foot on the arch bar put it where it feels natural and if needed replace the archbar where you foot is. Thats why the arch bars are 18 and 22 in long so you dont have to worry lol. And so you can slide your foot.

Being consistent with stance is good but you cant always be perfect with it and you are gonna have to re arrange your feet sometimes
