wow, that's the best example of that I've ever seen. I opened my audio control on my comp and alternated lines w/ the balance slider, and it literally could have been the same song.

I don't know I mean I was really starting to get into them, then I found this.

At least my 2nd favorite Good Charlotte hasn't been compromised

if you poured gravy on a nickelback album a dog still wouldn't go near it

Theres some video online of them at a concert in the UK. Everyone in the audience started throwing rocks at them and the lead singer got all pissed off and they walked off stage. Mission accomplished.

True, since Avril you guys have gone down hill.

Probably our best exports in their genre:
-Boys Night Out
-Silverstein
-Alexisonfire

Good bands but have yet to break out:
-Protest the Hero
-Dead and Divine

I don't know if I'd go as far as calling it a hijack. We were still on the topic of Canadian music...

Protest does own. I got bit by some chick at Warped Tour while watching Protest the Hero this year. My arm started bleeding so I elbowed her in the face.

Silverstein is such a good band.

Silverstein was better than they are now... I thought "When Broken is Easily Fixed" was much better than "Discovering the Waterfront".

Heres the full story for those who are interested (in anecdote format)...

I was a bright and sunny day at Warped Tour and I am eagerly anticipating Protest the Hero's set. I push my was through the crowd to try and get as close as I can. The pit is packed. Like it was seriously squished. Then all of a sudden I feel a really sharp pain on my right arm. I looked down to see a girl with a decent chunk of my bicep in her mouth. Shes standing there teeth clamped like a fucking bear trap. So I gave my arm a quick jerk and the skin pulled out from between her teeth. With another quick swing my elbow slams into her face.

She shrugs her shoulders and gives me the "What the fuck was that for?" look.

I shrug mine back and yell, "You fucking bit me you dumb bitch!"

She shrugs her shoulders and again gives me the "What the fuck was that for?" look.

At this point the crowd pushed between us. I looked down to see blood running down my arm. I may have been bleeding, but I was also grinning from ear to ear... Fucking dumb bitch.

The elbow was the best I could do in such a tight pit. I bet she was feeling it for a couple days though.

silverstein sounds the same as most emo/hardcore bands do nowadays to me.

this harcore and emo phase is way worse than 80s butt rock ever was. at least those guys acted like they enjoyed life

Yeah, I agree. They went downhill fast. Although their lead singer Shane Told started a record label called Verona Records, and they signed "Dead and Divine," which is sick. Becuase Dead and Divine are sick.

you're right, it doesn't take a hardcore person to actually exercise
