I need to figure out how popular each event is, separately. So if you have some good numbers please help me out.

How many competitors? How large is the audience? any info on any comp is useful

All of the east coast events are packed. I go to Vilano every year for fl pro am and theres usually atleast 20 skimmers in each category starting in jr mens, and up. If the waves are ever good then you will probably be free skimming around 50 local skimmers and like 10 pros. So Vilano can be over crowded but its a great 4 day weekend vacation of no work and skim

i don't have any legitimate statistics but i just know that the Victoria West Coast Championships has a ridiculous amount of spectators, especially during the pro finals. the whole beach was completely packed last year. out of the contests in california, that one definitely had the most spectators last year.

Not that that is untrue, but Aliso looks roughly like that any weekend in July.
