do full body wetsuits usually hold water in the calfs cuz like i used my friends which was alil big for me and it held water above the ankle which was really annoying...

Water doesn't hold in above the ankle if you're a badass. Guess you're not a badass.

You could check out Quicksilver, Ripcurl, Billabong, Xcel, Resistance (Custom skim wetsuits made in Japan, super sick!), and so many more. Jacks surf shop in Huntington beach has a really good sidewalk sale every week and they sell wetsuits for pretty cheap. As far as the wetsuit retaining too much water in the calves and above the ankles, that could be due to the wetsuit being a little big on you. If too much water gets shot down my wetsuit or I take a nasty spill, then sometimes I'll get water caught in that area..All you have to do to get it out though is open up one of the leg holes of the wetsuit and the water spills out..Pretty simple fix.

Edit: Like Fuji said below, you definitely need to watch out for the super low end models. My brother got a 60 dollar billabong a couple seasons ago and it now has about 15 rips in it from only a year of use. I am not positive on this, but I have also heard that the lower end billabongs are the worst. The higher end ones are pretty good though.

Just make sure you get a wetsuit that fits.

The more expensive Quiksilver wetsuits are nice, but avoid the lower level ones...

Watch this, they've had some really good deals on nice suits recently. They have a pretty extensive sizing chart, too, so measure yourself before you order.
