DATE CHANGED TO 11/20/2011
The National Collegiate Skimboaring Association and Island Water Sports would like to cordially extend an invitation to the 2011 Fall Formal. This event will feature College Skimboarders competing in the Homecoming event on Saturday, and skimmers of all ages competing on Sunday in skill-based divisions.
College Skimboarders will ride on Saturday and compete in the NCSA Pro, Competitive, Recreational, and Womens divisions. Riders of all-ages competing on Sunday will be able to choose between Prom King, Prom Court, Prom Grom, and Prom Queen.
Need a little help deciding which division you should enter? Well the Kings of the Beach and best skimmers in town will be competing for the title of Prom King. The girl shredders will ride for the title of Prom Queen. Prom Court is for skimmers who ride on a regular basis, but are still progressing and not quite sure how to land a 540 big spin, and Prom Grom is for those who are new to skimming. Whether it's your first contest ever, or your first time ever skimming, the Prom Grom division will be really relaxed and a fun place for beginners to compete. If you're STILL unsure of which division to choose, just select one for now and talk to an someone on Event Staff the morning of the contest if you change your mind.
