Whats up buddies, i was formerly known as vicskimwedger on the old board which you probably dont care but just lettin you know....

Anyways, im gonna go out at 56 st or 36 st Newport instead of balboa because i had a gnarly vision last night of me getting a huge long line, and that it doesnt seem too hard to do at all


For people who do this, do you really need to paddle into the wave cause i was thinking of just standing up in the water and giving myself a boost into the wave instead of trying to use my lifeless arms. I really think it will be chill because there is a sick line that comes off of the jetty that is pretty mellow and not so steep like the other peaks.

Is my board gonna sink when i try to get up or is it gonna be fine just as long as i have enough speed goin into the wave?

PS: Im not talking about a foot of water eaither, its like 3-4 feet deep just FYI

Naw man its not that, but i get what your saying. I just wanted to switch it up a little instead of shorebreak and start getting huge lines on my skim like cory ryan does, but i never get to do that unless wedge has its sider working. And i know 56 st gets a crazy little mellow long line wave off the jetty that rolls in between sets thats really fun. And im not talkin triple overhead, im talkin about peaky shoulders that are like 2-3 ft bro.........
