lol
not really a secret when you could just walk under the jetty and see it
yes it does get good in the inside
Jeff.Liu

looks kinda dangerous
it is
theres sharks in the inlet, where you stand is where the fishermen try to beach sharks
board sometimes gets sucked out away from the jetty, you better be afraid
yes, you can see them just about everyday
Big nasty spinners, whats up, nothing, just some sharks...
unkown success

yea i was at the inlet later in the afternoon and i checked the inside and it definately looks extremely fun for low tide with these conditions

uhhhh that break is kinda fun...the most dangerous thing is the rocks..me, domke and seabass have skimmed that a few times...its good but those damn rocks are bad...they stick up everywhere and theres only about 10 foot of runnign room.
just ollie the rocks. duh

tee hee if we get a 6ft swell or bigger and straight E or ENE or ESE winds or anything with E and its pushing , my spot be going off and yea the only problem is shark but at low tide its sooo good and theres this huge stretch of sand that kicks up then a bunch of slope it fires
Rocco
11-05-2006, 04:15 PM
ive always seen that stretch next to the jeti when ive gone fishing but never though to attempt it, the rocks on that side always looked like an early grave for my board

looks sick but iwould be worried bout losing my board
looks sick but id be worried about drowning in that strong ass current.

11-05-2006, 06:02 PM
how the hell do you lose your board? what kinda homo shoots his board 20 feet into the inlet and cant get it? come onnnn!!
why would you worry about sharks? your not paddling around out there or sitting on your board like a surfer...its simple you catch a wave and ride it in!
and about the rocks..its not the problem of running them over because there really isnt any in the water, the problem is the maze of rocks your hopping over and stubbing your toes on while your trying to run on a tiny strip of sand. geeeze!

Easy on the exclamation points matty
Rocco

either way though, once that current gets going around the tide change it can be pretty strong and i would hate to get anywhere near it
Chrith
11-05-2006, 06:35 PM
if the current is taking you out to the ocean i guess you would have a problem but if its just taking you into the inlet i guess it wouldnt be bad
Walruz996
11-05-2006, 06:41 PM
It goes down the inlet. Pretty sure anyway.
unkown success
11-06-2006, 09:15 AM
if the tide is going into low tide it will suck you out into the ocean, and i skimmed the inside yesterday it was super sik

people skim in there a whole lot. nothing new.
we have pics somewhere.
if the current takes you down the inlet, just float it out. (never seen it happen to a skimmer, but seen a few hot doggin jet skiers on south side lose their skis then get sucked down thru the inlet. they just float it out and get out around the campgrounds. you won't drown)

similar spot up here, but you gotta find a spot in between rocks to run from.
didnt brad have a ton of clips at this secret spot in sandcrabs?

A few years back there was like waist high perpindicular lines in there and domke and a few of his friends were skimming it. Domke got a few that were pretty much nuts.
Brad, me and a few other guys were in there one time, and brad got a wave right at the pier and rode it for like 30-40 yards. I thought it would never end.
