So you realized it was more durable after riding it for a few rides.
I've ridden slot wingfish and dude cruise. No idea about durabililty of either but they've both gotten dinged up.

Or running over sharp rocks ^......just don't do it. When a bunch of rocks pops up from nowhere, I jump off my board......screw the wave I just missed.
Edit......I have NOT seen a fish I haven't liked, they all look like they would work great. I think this will be the Year of the Fish.

lol youve been sayin this for like a year and a half man. just rode my first fish skim the other day though in like thigh to waist kinda far conditions though, it was sexcellent. 3.5/4" med square fish... now i wants one. point( iguess) being, all fishes sampled are fun

Some of our spots are setup where if you blow it on a wave (which I'm quite good at) then chances are the board is going to get washed into rocks... its not like I'm trying to hit them haha.

I remember riding Hoppers at high tide and every-time you lose your board it would almost always slam into the huge sharp granite rocks (dumped there to save the cliffs).:(

ive owned 2 dude cruises and rode multiple smetts pro models. I would say the dude cruise is a better shape, and i def recommend it. It gets super far out, turns on a dime and has tons of surface area for tech. (pink board)

i found the dude to feel more bloated, where as the rocket fish is more of a traditional shape with fish tail.

The closest thing I could compare the Zap to is a 3/4ths to 5/8ths tapered hybrid exile with a fish tail. Obviously a good thing because i loved my hybrid exile, just got too small haha

personally, i think the rocketfish feels way better. however, the dude cruise will get you more wimin. IMO the dude cruise just feels way too wide and clunky. but in the end, looks matter more than performance, which is why the dude cruise takes the crown

i like the rocket fish on lines the dude cruise i like better for wraps.....i hate doing wraps with fish tails though because they are too loose for my liking if i had to choose just one i would say go with the rocket its a little more fun in my opinion
