I bought a set of Nike slingshots last year. They're pretty accurate but about 10-15 yards shorter than burner irons. I will always take accuracy over distance though.

Yeah. I make about 50-100 a week depending on summer vs winter. Do you guys pool them all together for the day and divide them or keep your own?

We pool ours together and our assistant pro divides them every monday for the week in correspondence to who worked that day and how many hours. If I kept my own I would be making a fucking killing lol

I go to golf courses, and I swing my golf clubs at golf balls, trying to get them into the hole. Whether or not what I do is technically considered "golf" is a matter of opinion.

TheSeaCowww

My dad ran into a rattlesnake at La Jolla. And in Myrtle Beach a mama black bear and her cub ran across the course. At some course in upstate NY there were foxes EVERYWHERE, and also a few deer running around.

but i havent golfed in florida.

Play through man, 5 hours is way too long to be out there. I hate when people hold me back. I get out of my groove and start playing shitty.

I play there all the time, 2-3 times a week. There are some huge gators on this course. They have even crossed the street and went swimming at the beach during droughts. We've been skimming there and seen a gator in the water more than once.

i play golf on the reg. so much fun, been playing seriously for about 2 years now, on the course I play locally, I avg. about a 90-92 (72 par obvi.)

my older brother, who I play with mostly, played on the golf team at Texas Tech, and he's damn good, so it's nice to have someone better than me to play with.

I have been told that the new Adams stuff is actually quality shit. The newest woods look pretty sick, I just haven't hit them.

I really like the TM drivers. My favorite is the original r7. The only driver I can hit more consistently then the r7 is the Callaway FT-iZ tour ... I just hate the triangular look of it.

been working at the UF golf course for 3.5 years....but have probably only played like 50 times. Usually its just a few holes here and there like when I go to get coolers and its slow. Just never got into golf.

Jealous of all you who work at private courses and get tips. I make $7.25 an hour (FL minimum wage) nd no tips...We are "private" (student, alumni, faculty, staff, guest) but I have gotten like $50 in tips since I started because we dont ride members go their car, clean clubs, etc. The only stuff I get free is drinks, gator golf gear if I work a tourney or they throw it out, food and beer when we have events.

The best driver Ive ever hit and still hit consistently is the Callaway FT-IQ 11degree draw biased. Its the one that looks like the back of a corvette or a lambo or something. I have a brand new Callaway ERC FUSION I cant hit to save my life. Ive hit the Nike Machspeed Black and really like it also but the FT-IQ is never leaving my bag.

Yeah man you will always find that one driver that works for you. I could never hit an 1 degree driver I have a high ball flight off the tee as it is and with that it would be ridiculous haha. Mine is a 9.5 and I want an 8.5

I finally learned how to consistently draw, fade, or hit straight. I'm so excited. Now I need to work on my hybrids, still can't figure mine out yet, and when I think I have it figured out it goes to hell still.

I just started learning to hit my driver straight. My dad and I went out this past weekend and he had just got the new Titleist D3... Thing is SICK. If I had the money, I'd def get one. But anyways, I have a very abbreviated backswing. But I have been wanting to extend it a little, so I started to a little bit, and it made a huge difference. I was finally getting at least 250 out of my drives and they were straight. Before, I would take a very short backswing and end up trying too hard to compensate for the lack of range and really try to power through it, but I just cut across the ball instead. I'm glad I'm starting to get some more distance.

Ya I guess its all in your swing. I tend to swing down on the ball more than under so it works great usually but if I swing under baha its a nose bleeder.
