Some gulfcoast kid at Boardwalk contest today told me it went like this.. He ordered couple apex boards for this kid. This kid got them sent from apex , then Blake collected the money but never sent it to them. When he wanted new 2011 boards, they wanted their money and he didnt have it and they werent happy.

In summary:

1) You & Blake are cool.

2) You are solely responsible for Blake's sponsorship with Slotstik.

3) Madd Budd is greater than twice as tough in real life than He is on the internet.

4) Slotstick apparently does not offer Pink Boards as an option.

5) Slotstick riders do not wear tight clothes.

A couple of things are still unclear however,...

1) Was Blake the guy you "loaned" a board to, which He in turn sold for drug money?

2) Does anyone else have any comments as to whether Blake did/didn't pocket money for boards that was supposed to go to Apex? Nobody has refuted that statement to this point.

Blake has been a buddy of mine for a LONG time, and I met him at the 2nd contest i ever competed in on Turtle Beach in Sarasota. That was back in the middle of 2004. And Blake has always been good to me and has never done me wrong in any way. But the shit he pulled was uncalled for and wrong. He had a deal with a guy who wanted to get some boards (i dont know his name), and Blake helped him out and hooked him up with some APEXs. When Blake gave the boards to the kid Blake received money for the boards and was to give that cash to APEX. That money never made it to anyone at APEX, and even after all this SOMB BS and people talking about what Blake did or didnt do it still hasnt made it to APEX. I dont know what happened with him and Matty B, but i do know that he sold someone boards and pocketed the money for himself.

And all of his friends that are backing him saying that what i explained in the first paragraph didnt happen, are either wrong or complete liars trying to save his reputation. But Blake was unhappy with the way he was being treated at APEX. From the moment i got on APEX he was trying to convince Arne to kick me off the team. There was no reason behind it excpet that APEX was better off without me on the team. He also found out that Tim Fulton was receiving more contest and travel compensation then he was, and was very unhappy about that. After he found that out he demanded the same compensation that Tim was receiving and was told that it wasnt going to happen. After all of that, he has another conversation with Arne about how unhappy he was with APEX, and Arne tried to convince him to stay. Arne explained to him that APEX is still a fairly new company and in time will be able to compensate him the way he wanted. Blake replied with "well if i quit can i come back in a year when APEX is better established?". Of course he was told that wasnt an option, so he breached his contract and switched to Slotstik.

So no Blake did not leave APEX. APEX terminated his contract after he stole from the company that was supporting him, and settled for Slotstik. That is the real story.
