Go to the back/left end of the store. On one of the pillars of the shelves there is a nice pic of Bill Bryan hitting a wave frontside on a head high set. Never expected to see that. Thought I'd share.:D

I don't see why people dislike pac-sun, I bought my shirt and shoes there for cheaper than anywhere else.

I know, I know. Shawna and I went to Daytona for the day. She was shopping and I saw the nicest Pacsun ever. Had to go in.

I worked in Pac sun in 98' it was the easiest job I ever had. But it sucked working with tools that wore hawwiian shirts and fruit booted. They used to think that the greatest thing invented were SOAP shoes.

The problem I have with pac sun is they leech off the beach culture without giving anything back. Maybe they should sponsor riders or competitions, something.

One day I was in there and I noticed you don't see the word "surf" anywhere, which is odd for a surf shop and it kinda unsettled me.

Also, they used to sell surfboards and skimboards there like 10 years ago, but they stopped. I guess it wasnt profitable trying to compete with legit surf shops.

Pacsun just capitalizes on the beach/watersports culture. It's not a surf shop. But hell, they sell some of the same clothing you can get at a real surf shop. And when they have sales, it's great.

Roseville Westfield Galleria Pacsun near Sacramento has the same pic in the Window that faces the aisle. I've seen that pic before. Bill is wearing a white/green trucker hat. There is no photo credit or caption on the pic. I'm not sure who took it.....Bailey, Peluso?? Anybody give permission or sell that pic?

Even though I have picked up some good deals from Pac Sun in the past, I completely agree with your point. One time I stopped in there to see if I could put up a flyer for the Sac Skimfest. The manager told me he'd put it up in the employee locker room -as if the deusch bag workers would actually go to the comp.

and S3, isn't it funny how many "surfer kids" live in Roseville/Rocklin?

Pac-sun is a little better than Hollister in the poser category, but damn they still are some serious ass posers, check out their page:

Actually, according to my findings, pacsun brought in $1,300,000,000.00 US Dollars and had a profit of $103,000,000.00 US Dollars, Dzan. And I think I just called you out. How does that make you feel? Do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?

Revenue 1.4 billion.
Gross Profit: 506 million
Net profit: 126 million

How does the fact that you can't understand a simple income statement make you feel? Go back into your hole.

Well, I got something for you this time, and correct me if i'm wrong.
