But seriously, if there's a flip-side to this bullshit, its that now many more issues will come to light, and you can be sure that many new practices are likely to be put in place. And it won't just be at the government's behest, thankfully. Obviously, this isn't profitable for BP, and it will go down as a case study in proper risk assessment and reduction.
