It was a really fun day, after a boat passed, the waves went into these knee high point break liners, I didnt get any pics or footage of the good waves but I got some nice rides.

that deerfield pic looks as bad as the cocoa beach pier... at 7pm tonight
there was some small skim, knee high lines, not worth the crowd fight
i can't even imagine what the crowd looked like during the day

walrus at least you enjoyed yourself on the holiday, i had to work 10 hours
i've caught that place really good before

i don't think they loose shit so much as maybe kids lose their way back to their familes when they come outa the water. and people don't care, they'll walk right on top of your towel if you're not sitting on it. i hate ignorant tourists.

Thanks, those pics are sick boardheads, I've skimmed deerfield pretty much exactly the same as pictured, but with about 4 or 5 other skimmers including Dave Scott. I don't think I've ever seen so many people get sprayed, and they never learn, they kept getting in the way, not like it was worth it either, some tiny ankle slappers with no form.

That is why this is the time of year we always end up heading up coast. Believe me it has been F-L-A-T down here for like 2 weeks. :(

The Oceanfront is hell starting about now. I might try for it on Thursday though. I'm hoping it won't be too crowded. I'm heading down to Avon next week though. It isn't too bad down there usually.

I love that area down there. It's so chill. The big time tourist crap hasn't hit it yet, and I'm hoping it will stay like that. Skimming and surfing all day long, then at night I'll just chill on the beach with some friends and make a bonfire. Nothing can beat that.
