uh, i had a thread posted about an order from the skimonline shop, and apparently it disappeared, on the all forums page it showed the thread and that bart had replied, but when i click it it tells me that it's an invalid thread, and it's not even listed under site discussion, is this a glitch or did my thread get deleted for some reason?
i have no idea, it shows up fine for me. i was going to make a change to the thread and say the way to deal with this is to pm aaron, but then decided to just leave it.
jonny has made some change to the forum code or something so that might be screwing it up.
here is the direct link i have for it:

yeah, something is fucked up, for some reason only admin can see the thread now. i'll have to ask jonny to look into the mod tools.
but to answer your question, my personal opinion and experience with internet vendors is that worrying about your package not being there after 2-3 days is unreasonable, and if you're freaking out already and emailing people about it you're just going to be perstering people about nothing.
i'd give it until at least a few days after what should be expected, which is at least next monday.

hm, it's still showing up as invalid for me for some reason, oh well, i would pmed aaron but i wanted to see if anyone else could let me know how long it took for them to get shit from there, and just to make it clear, i am in no way criticizing skimonline, i've had nothing but good experiences with the skimonline shop, i'm just concerned about the reliability of the usps because they have screwed me many times in the past
edit:
if you're freaking out already and emailing people about it you're just going to be perstering people about nothing.
that's another reason i wanted to post a thread rather then send people pm's and emails
i guess im just saying unless you asked it to be mailed overnight, mailed out monday night (which probably really means Tuesday), and then starting to trip out that you don't have it on Thursday seems kind of unreasonable (haha sorry, but it is).
i say that just as a guy who orders a lot of stuff online. you have to expect some cushion in there.
p.s. but i understand dude. im the kind of guy who orders shit and checks the tracking info every half hour.

no worries, i just expected a little too much out of priority mail, when i checked on the usps website it said 2 days so i got my hopes up, but i'm not too worried about it, especially because im about to go see Borat right now, i'm way too stoked to be tripping out over this at the moment
