2010 Open At Lands End

Wednesday October 27th- riders meeting
Thursday October 28th- beginning of 6 day waiting period
Tuesday November 2nd- end of 6 day waiting period

No seeding, every pro has equal standing.(borrowed from the ASP) Round 1 heats will be made up at end of riders meeting.

Round 1 will start off with 3 man heats with the winner advancing to the 3rd round and the 2nd/ 3rd place riders being paired (based on points) into man on man heats for round 2.

Top 3 waves score if the venue ends up being a sider spot, top 5 if it's straight onshore.

Interference and priority rules will be strictly enforced. The 1st interference call will result in the loss of score for both the wave in question along with the offending rider's top scoring wave. 2nd is a DQ

we changed it this year from 2 riders advancing to round 3 instead of 1 although this may possibly change based on the number of entries.
