Hi! I`m skimming with wooden board now and i want try some waves too, so i`m saving money for new board, but i don`t know what kind of board is right for me ? In finland we don`t have big waves and i usually ride flatland but we are going to england and spain in summer ,so I need wave riding board but i do flatland skimmin too... so any ideas?

I`m thinking Circle One EPS boards because they aren`t so expensive
what do u think about circle one boards?

PS. I`m from finland so i suck in english, i hope u understand me :)

Need more information, like height, weight, price range, ability, more detailed wave description, what you want in your board, etc.

I`m 170cm and 75 kg (166 pounds)
I know that all good wave riding boards are very expensive
but i don`t want spent 400e (500$) because i`m not pro and i want still do flatland skimboarding so, max price: 250e (320$)

I`m beginner in skimboarding so i don`t really know what is good board for me but i think i need good floating cos always when i skim with my old board and i jump to my board and skim it always stops and sink in the water and i can`t do long rides.

Please help me choosing board :)

PS. Sorry about the language

Victoria plane wrap would be nice. It is the same as a poly vac, but they take off the gloss coat and put on vinylester so it has a little more flex to it. Rides the same as a poly vac though. It is like 247.8 euros. Also Zap pro, zap e glass, sol s glass, slotstik slot vac, etc. Probably ML

thanks rockporter!

I was thinking zap boards but i have one problem, i have to order my board from internet and only (i find only one) shop who delivers boards to finland is www.sandskater.co.uk and there is no ML size board what i want :(

But in sandskater they have Circle One Foamy board and it looks fine but i don`t know anything about circle one boards, are they good? Floating? Wave riding ability?

That does limit things quite a bit as there aren't many boards or brands on that site. I'm don't know much about Circle One Boards good or bad as we don't have them in the United States there are a couple of nice looking large zap pros though for only a little more then 250 euro. Zap doesn't make ML so don't worry about that, large is for riders under 85 kg so you would be fine. Sorry i couldn't help more.
