If your just starting out Victoria Foamie-For beginner to intermediate riders this is the best value in a foam core skimboard on the market today. The Foamie is strong, durable, has an excellent wave riding shape, and is inexpensive. 8 lb density 5/8" Polyurethane core with Epoxy resin = practically unbreakable.

Negative.
Recent studies have proven that toasting bread and then freezing it for 2 days will make it stiffer than most high end carbon fiber boards.
