I was out skiming out on my new board (a vic poly) in Nags Head and some stupid Fishermen came right out in front of me when i was going out into the wave and i tried to avoid him but it didnt go so well and i fell off really funny
and now my groin muscle is hurting really bad. Anyone know what to do?

Dude, that sucks.. I just landed on my tailbone after trying out my new Exile Hybrid... the slope was kinda funny that day and needless to say I landed on it and I used some Advil and that seemed to help..

i pulled my groin like 2 weeks ago skimming not even falling just from getting on akwardly in to a sideslip then while regaining my balance i pulled it.

Stretch a pulled muscle will feel better if you stretch it try to look up some groin stretches online. I pulled my quad skimboarding and my gymanstics coach had me stretch non stop felt better in a week

hard to elevate a groin injury.
I tore (not pulled) my groin last year. I was out for almost three months. Groin injuries are no joke. A slight pull is nothing and you will be fine with some rest. From now on STRETCH.

About 3 months ago. (which is almost a year after the injury) I finally began not to notice it. I actually am better of than before the injury now, because of the stretching routine I started after getting hurt. I stretch at the gym EVERY day for like 10 minutes. Just lower body. Noticed a big difference at the beach.
Yea dale I remember when you hurt yourself on that wave. It didn't look like much except the board popping up. You were hurt for a long time after that.
Good luck with that injury man.
