How come when he starts- the stem is on the top- but after the split- the stem is on bottom?

you dont use your fingers, you use the pad or whatever under your thumb and keep kneading it eventually it will split

I do this with every single one of my apples, its a habit now. This was a huge thing for our little rock climbing clique basically it helps to have climbing strength. Dont use both your palms though, use left palm and right thumb.

Oh and btw, girls absolutely LOVE this.
