Ok I'll tell you the difference is.......with surfing all have to do is paddle out to the waves turn around and start paddling, then before you know it your riding either a wave or water water. And with in a few tries you should be able to standup......even the first day. Now a skimboard takes months to be able to hit a wave and ride it.......that's the difference. At least that's the way it was for me.

Learning the right drop techniques and figuring out how to get onto waves is alot harder and (in my opinion more fun) than paddling into them and standing up

I agree. I only surfed two days. I've spent maybe 20 days skimming and can barely reach waves (it's different on the Gulf here).

Thrillhouse, that vid was rediculous. Rally racing is so sick.
